NI4U - 40 started out great, then I got sidetracked hunting Route 66 stations. When I came back to the sprint, the bands had died out for me. Still had fun in the 30 minutes I was on the air! See you next month. 73, Mike NI4U
K4KRW - Thanks everyone! Great to hear all of you. 73, Richard
WD4OHD - Some QRM, generally weak signals on 40m but made some contacts despite the less than ideal conditions. When my straight key started acting up and I couldn't figure out how to fix it on the fly, I decided to pack it in for the night. Thanks to those who hung in there with me.
WG8Y - Hi all, Didn't hear anyone calling NA on 40m so found a hole and started calling.Wow! worked quite a few then it slowed Way down. Pulled the plug after an hour. Was a fun hour though.
Had a couple more thongs to finish up before hitting the sack.
72 all from N.C. Mark WG8Y
K3RLL - Back in FL with nice weather but lousy HOA antenna restrictions. Sure glad NAQCC ops have great ears! ;-)
Some pretty good signals on 40m tonight. Big sigs into FL were KB1M and WB9HFK.
72, ... Don
N4MJ - Noisy (QRN) bands, not a lot of activity. Started late, quit early. LOL Thanks to all participants.
73 de n4mj
N2TNN - Slow start on 20 but 40 was hoppin' and used the Hole-in-wall bug tonight. Very smooth and easy to send. 72
KC5F - Slow start on 20m, then much better on 40m. More QSOs at the end on 80m than on 20m, and a lot harder, too, with lots of QRN and QSB, but what's the fun in easy QSOs! Interestingly, all NAQCC calls on 80m were folks I'd worked on 40m. But where were NC, SC, GA and AL? Oh well. Lots of fun, as usual. Thanks, all! 72, Steve
K9QEW - 40m OPS only using my Homebrew rockbound"Funmitter" Somewhat more
challenging but FUN! One has to make
them come to you-hard to chase. 72
& see you next month. Daryl
K2OID - Interesting night. 40M poor but workable until 0200Z when it went completely dead and it seemed everyone QSYed to 80. Worked mani stations on both bands. Thanks to everyone for digging my signal out of the noise and for your patience. Lots of A1 ops in the NAQCC! Lots of fun tonight as well.
KN1H - Thanks for another fun Sprint! Great to see 80 coming to life after its Summer Siesta. 72, John, KN1H IC-7300 5W and Nye Viking Master Key.
W9DWR - I didn't think I was going to be able to make it tonight, so it was nice to have time to fit in most of it. The east was my friend tonight, PA (4), NC (3), NY, NJ, and 2 local IL. 73!
N9JFZ - Contacts on 40 and 80 meters. 40 was the best for me.
72 All!
KK4ITX - Noise is not my friend!
K8NGW - Where did everybody go? 20m seemed in fine shape. I hit N7KM in UT, KN1H in NH, and KA6J in TX. Then I called till the top of the hour with no takers. 40m also seemed in fine shape, but lacking operators. I worked W1AW/4 (who was running 50 watts) along the way. Moved to 80m which had quite a bit of noise and fading, but again few operators. Was somebody having a party and I wasn't invited??? :-) See you all next month.
N7QR - 103rd sprint 1.5 hours KX3 BY2>K1EL run as a bug, many POTA and special event stations on 40 but none would reveal their power. Russ Portland OR
WX4RM - Conditions were just so-so tonight. Half of my contacts were with Illinois, which had good signal strength. Had fun as always.
DK1VD - KC3RN Thanks for your patience good RX and ears :-))
KQ1P - QRN at S7 here plus QSB, but able to work through it.
KA2KGP - Poor band conditions here in WNY this NA Sprint. 20 was nil, 40 was weak & 80 was high QRN. Rig: IC-7000 at 5w. into a G5RV up 20 ft. w/ memory keyer for CQ's & straight key for QSO's. 73 to all,
WB8ENE - 20 was dead and 80 was dead. 40 was busy with mostly RT66 contacts, but I managed to snag one NAQCC station. I also got one RT66 contact and one W1AW contact. Hopefully conditions will be better next time. 73, Art
NO2D - Nearby thunderstorms made lots of 40 meter ORN so decided discretion the better part of valor after only one contact. NO2D, Pete
W1TER - All contacts made within a half hour window.Dead start, deadfinish
W2SH - The skip zone on 20m was nonexistent, and my QSO with KC3MIO, 14 miles distant, was probably by ground surface wave. Activity level on 40m was not high. I tried 80m where no signals were heard and there were no replies to my CQs.
W1BRY - Still trying to quit the reader cold turkey
W8GG - Hello Fellow Sprinters! I fired up my FTdx1200 to a gnd mnt vertical wid 20 radials. I started out on 20m with QSOs with KN1H and N7KM, then 20 faded out... went to 40 for 8 more QSOs then called it a night at 0945pm local. Had trouble with my cable on the trusty J-38 during QSO with KA2KGP, and had to do a quick key change. I took some sprint time out to work a couple of the Rte 66 stations. (they were right on top of some of us, so why not? ) Grabbed W6I es W6P. Great night playing radio with many of the old gang. Had a splendid evening. Tns to all. 73 Gregg W8GG
N7KM - I enjoyed my 15 minutes on the sprint. I got called away and when I came back 20 was dead. Thank to all who keep the sprint going. 72 Ken N7KM
WA2FBN - Only able to work last half hour; very few stations heard. TNX 72 Ken
WA1GWH - Lots of deep QSB last night. Solid copy then gone for a moment or nearly so. Thank you for the repeats! Quite a few OPs were on, must be the coming winter season. 72 and TU from near Syracuse, NY! Garry
N3CAA - Storms held off until after the sprint ended so I could operate from the backyard. 40m was poor, lots of QSB, which some static crashes towards the end of the sprint as the storms got closer. Had a few callers that I couldn't make out their callsign, hopefully work them next month. TNX es 72, Corey
KC3MIO - Haven't been active lately due to move from PA to NJ so it was nice to get back in the sprint. Icom 7300 at 5 watts into a 133' EFHW as an inverted L up about 25-30'. I was tired and almost packed it in early but stuck with it and 80 provided some nice action at the end. 73/72 Rich and thanks to my contacts.
N5GW - I didn't have much time but never want to miss a sprint. I was using one of my homemade bugs.
