AB9BZ - Thanks for the sprint, got on with the zbitx @ 2W. Happy Holidays!! 72 ab9bz
K4KBL - Not the best conditions here in GA this evening. 20 started well but fizzled early. 40 was somewhat better but not for long. Had a good time for about 45 minutes.
WD4OHD - Got a late start, but it hardly mattered. QRM and lousy propagation on 40m. Only heard a few stations calling CQ, but surprisingly the loudest was in Colorado (N0TA). Nothing much closer to me, and the few I could hear couldn't hear me.
K9NUD - Wow... tough sledding tonight! I got one on 20, one on 40, and 4 on 80. That's the first time I had more contacts on 80 than any other band!
Thanks for the hard-won contacts!! KX3@5W with a cootie.
KD0V - Operated only on 40M. The noise was a solid S5 and signals were weak for the most part. I wasn't feeling 100% so cut it short. See you all next time. 72's and thanks everyone!
KN1H - Tonight we are camping at Stephen Austin State Park just West of Houston,TX. Using the KX-2 at 5W with KY 605/U straight key and a 28' end-fed wire. Heard nothing at all on 20M and conditions very noisy on 40 so was delighted to work so many folks at all! Will look for everyone next week in the mw sprint, from somewhere in NM. 72, John, KN1H/5
N8HWV - Three qso are better than zero. Thanks folks.
KA8HDE - CQ'd for 30 mins and only heard 1 station. Assumed bad conditions but RBN said I was being heard everywhere west of me (MN). Finally got a few more but pulled the plug after 45 mins. Maybe more next time. Thanks for the 4 who heard me and responded.
NI4U - My first sprint in almost 5yrs! Had a blast hunting stations on 40 & 80m over a course of 45m. Heard some strong signals even with the S7 noise at my QTH.
NF8M - Op time 0:30. Remote op, thus in the keyer category this time. Nothing left of 20, & 80 not awake yet but had a good run on 40, some weak & QSB. Tnx es cu next week. 72
N9EEE - S7 noise level on 40-meters may have crushed a couple of Qs...SRI.
KE9DR - Ruff night, local EMI and very NA signals. Made two from GA. Thanks.
Still fun night, thanks to all. 72 Bert KE9DR
WG8Y - Hi all, Managed 2 Q's on 20m then on to 40m.
Worked 15 Q's but band seemed down. At least no heavy QRN here tonite. Picked up 3 more contacts on 80m then pulled the plug at 10PM eastern.
Worked N4MJ on 20 & 40m. Cool! Looked for you on 80m Glenn. Hi Hi
Looking forward to the QRPp next week.
72 from N.C. Mark WG8Y
VE3DQN - Not great propagation on my end tonight, but I always manage to get a few. The "patience" award goes to Steve NN0SS in MN for bearing with me to finally get his callsign correct. He was also my DX for tonight.
AA5LH - K3/QRP to 40-10M Delta Loop @ 25'. Poor conditions across 40M. Hard to be motivated w/S7 noise across the band. Heard nothing on 20M. Threw the towel @ 02:45z. Merry Christmas to all & Take Care. 73/72..
N4MJ - SUPER SLOW EVENT. HAD TO SPLIT TIME WITH QRPFOX FOX HUNTING. THERE WAS NO RUSE AS NAQCC WAS SO SLOW. HEARD A COUPLE OF FOXII ON 80M BUT TOO MUCH NOISE TO WORK THEM. 20M FADED QUICKLY. THANKS TO ALL PARTICIPANT AND MERRY CHRISTMAS. BE SAFE!!!
KN2G - I spent some time calling tonight even though I like s and p. It was skinny going on all bands for me. Noise built steadily on 40 and I headed to 80 much earlier than usual. The storm has been delivering static with the showers... Some hard working ears out there tonight! I also had a battle with a few of my exchanges with qsb and low signal strength on rx. See you next week for the MW sprint!
K4KRW - Thanks everyone!
AF4PX - Thought 20m was better this time. 40m worked pretty well, but 80 was a noisy struggle here at my QTH
KC5F - Only a few on 20, and the first time in a while with as many on 80 as on 40. Local noise on 40m made some tough, but 80 was nice. N9JFZ on all three bands, tonight. Thanks, all, for the fun. See you next week!
NA4O - Most signals right at the noise level tonight and not many heard. But great to log some new calls. KX3 @ 5W, Vibroplex straight key
N2DGQ - First Sprint in a long time. Had fun. Bands were OK. CU AGN.
N9JFZ - A couple on 20 meters at beginning the remainder on 40 and 80 meters. Bands were ok. Had a good time
72, N9JFZ Rusty
N3RDG - First time in awhile, really enjoyed the sprint. I'll be back!
K8AG - It has been a long time since I did this. Like it a lot. I am back.
KF7Z - Got in late so only able to work a few QSOs before the band broke down completely, signals weak into Wyoming tonight on 20 meters. I think I had a contact going with K3IY but after I got you call I didn't get any thing I could make out of the static, sorry maybe next time. Running 5 watts to an Elecraft K3s to a 20 meter Dipole up 25', Thanks for the sprint, its always alot of fun
72 Danny
W4NLT - Had trouble hearing stuff on 20M and 40M and ended up working twice as many stations on 80M than 20M and 40M for the first time. DX was KF7Z in WY on 20M. TNX for the QSOs. 72 Andy
K8NGW - I finally got my new G106 (a Black Friday gift from me to me) on the air! A nice complement of 20, 40, and 80 meter QSO's! See you all next week for the mW sprint.
WX4RM - High noise levels made for a difficult sprint here, but had a good time as always.
KM3D - I told myself I would make a few more than a few this time; worked 40 and 80 meters. QSB and QRN were bad but I hung in there for most of the sprint. Sure hope things settle for next weeks MW Sprint! 72, Harry
KA6J - The conditions were rough here in So Cent TX tonight. Nothing on 20. The only signals I could hear were on 40, and they were way down. Finally gave up at 0200. Trying out a x6200 into a 4btv mounted on the ground with a few radials. Thanks for the sprint!
W8GG - Hello Fellow Sprinters ! Had a vy late night before hand es could barely stay awake fer start of sprint. Dosing off in front of the rig while waiting for the starting bell, but didnt want to miss it. Fired up the K2 at 5 watts to the Phoenix vertical. 20m was closing down just as we got going, but i did grab N0TA before the band went out. Got a couple more on 40 es by then i was getting rough wid my CW es so i went QRT es hit the rack. Hope to hear u all in the mw sprint next week. 73, Gregg W8GG
K3RLL - 20M was silent as a tomb here last night but nice activity on 40m. A lot of rapid QSB here requiring many requests for repeats. Thanks for the patience and skill of those I had the good fortune to work. I think this was my 196th NAQCC Sprint. A lot of fun over a lot of years. Thanks to all! 72, ... Don
KA2KGP - 20m. was nil & only 4 contacts on 40 due to hi-QSB. 80m. was the best band this sprint. Rig: IC-7000 at 5w. into G5RV up 20 ft. w/ straight key. 73 to all & Merry Christmas !
KC3MIO - Argonaut 509 with newly acquired 208 CW filter running 4 watts into a 288' horizontal loop up 35'. Nothing at all heard on 20 and did not waste time before turning to 40. Made four contacts including FL, GA, NE and CO (I think) but pickings were slim and turned to 80. For the second month in a row, all the action was on 80 - 17 contacts. Thanks to AP4PX for hanging in there during a difficult QSO. Tnx to all my contacts and look forward to the MW sprint next week, Rich
KQ1P - Much QRN here but found some activity on 80m.
WA3FIR - Good condx on 80 tonight. Not much activity on 40.
KA3BPN - A tough first time try for me. Not a lot of stations and propagation seemed tough.
AA0W - Condition fair deep fading strong noise level. Thanks all for the sprint reports.
WA2FBN - Not many signals heard on 40m. Band pretty noisy. TNX 72 Ken
VE3IIM - Poor conditions. 2 contacts on 20, nothing on 40. 80 was ok..Sorry to those I could not hear too well!
N2TNN - Band was very noisy but a few got thru
KA8VZB - Only worked 40M but condx disappointed. Even W1AW sounded QRP! Tnx, 72, Joe
AK3X - Only two sprint QSOs because I was concentrating on the QRP 40 meter Fox Hunt. Ir was an unsuccessful effort I might add.
N5GW - Stayed on 40M thinking 20M probably about done for the season. Looking forward to the milliwatt sprint next week.
