SOAPBOX:
KG8Y - First time. Running my new ic705 @ 5w and a wire dipole at about 25' or so.
KY0Q - Lots of activity on 40M with little QRN tonight made for a great time.
W1TM - Been a while since I participated. Made a couple of contact on 20.
K4KBL - 20 meters was great, working Pete N02D in CO, Ron AA0W NE,and John KC7DM in OR. Also worked many of my usual buddies. 40 was ok but noisy as usual here in GA.
Great time as always !!!
KE5YUM - Last month I was in the hospital for a four day stay. So glad to be back at the sprint. Long clear signals tonight from western Arkansas. All the best, Terry FT 710 at 5 watts, CWMORSE camelback key.
WD4OHD - Missed the first and last half hours, but good contacts during the hour I was on. Nice to have a functional, tuned 40m dipole up again, although it's not very high up. More QSOs on 20m than usual. Generally good band conditions tonight. Enjoyable as always.
NO2D - Been using a paddle for a while but switched to my trusty Lafayette straight key tonight. Very much out of practice. Thanks to all who make the sprints possible. Pete, NO2D.
K3RLL - What a fun half-hour. Bands were not so noisy and less QSB this evening here. 20m wasn't heavily populated but nice to get pretty steady answers to my CQ NAs. Got my 10 and slipped down to 40 to find K3JZD and KC5F for a 2-fer. How good is that!
Thanks for the fun.
N4MJ - Quiet night. Tnx to ALL participants. 73 and BE SAFE during Memorial Day. Remember why it is "MEMORIAL DAY".
73 de n4mj//glenn
VA3KRJ - Great night with pretty good conditions. Thanks everyone for the contacts.
WB0CJB - 40M was really good tonight. Glad to see the band cooperatimg.
KC5F - Glad to get anything tonight, with recent conditions. But better than a week ago when no one had answered me after I'd called CQ NA for about 15 minutes. On the wrong date...!
AF4PX - Good night 20m was nice then it slowed down on 40m
NA4O - Worked 40M only tonight. Sigs not especially strong but I was able to work most all that I could hear. Another successful night for QRP. KX3@5W, Vibroplex Straight Key.
KN2G - A very good night for me. I have yet to break 30 contacts... (got 28) but maybe someday! I enjoy our well mannered group and good fists. 80 was summertime crunchy, 40 fair and 20 was productive but very low noise for me. I expect some high scores tonight. June is coming! 2 sprints and Field Day too. See you there. 72
KN1H - Thanks to all for a fun evening on the radio. All 3 bands were alive and well and considering all the storms about, noise wasn't too bad. 72, John, KN1H
K3JZD - Worked 40m, with the last 20 minutes on 80m. Enjoyable evening. For a change, the thunderstorms passed through here before the event instead of during the event. Noise level was still kind of high, but just about everybody had pretty strong signals this evening. 72, Jody - K3JZD
KI8FV - Another great time tonight I didn't do as much as I usually do. I hadn't been on for a couple of months. This time I use my high mound bug keys I just got at Dayton.
NF8M - Op time 2 hr. Mostly S&P, a short run at the end. Nice sigs on 40m tonite, nothing heard on 20 or 80. Tnx qsos es 72 to all.
DK1VD - It was fun Thanks for the patience and the good ears
K9QEW K2OID
K6GPB - Conditions were poor tonight. Heard W8GG early in the Sprint but could not connect with them. Glad to be able to make a couple of contacts toward the end of the evening. Look forward to next month being better. Always fun trying.
K4KRW - Thanks everyone. I managed 1 contact on 20 and one on 80. All of the rest were on 40m. Band wasn't bad here. I managed 18 multipliers. Furthest was Colorado. Great hearing so many familiar calls. Fun night. 73, Richard
VE3DQN - Slow going on 20m. Thought it would be better. Strong signals on 40m. Good to see new callsigns.
W4NLT - Most of the action was on 40M. Good to work the QRP faithful. Lost couple of contacts do to loose connection on my antenna lead-sorry guys. Thanks for all the QSOs 72 Andy
K2OID - Condx were great. Best Sprint Ever! Several folks not in contest were answering our CQs. I had 3. I Got a chuckle when I worked K4KBL while he was still politely trying to end his QSO with one of the non-contesters who just would not take a hint. QSO of the night, however, had to be when DK1VD answered my CQ. TNX Manfred! Even greater fun than usual.
WB9HFK - A fun 2 hours on 40M this evening! I gave the Xiegu X6100 a good workout! Thanks for the QSO's and see everyone next time! 72, Mark WB9HFK
N9EEE - I look forward to this sprint every month. I enjoy hearing the distinctive fists, varying speeds, familiar call signs, and a great spread of locations in the US and Canada. Thanks everyone for an enjoyable evening among QRPers. 72 de N9EEE
KB2GKC - A good night...both 20 and 40m bands performed well. Thanks for the QSOs.
W8GG - Hello Fello Sprinters ! I fired up the Ftdx1200 at a thundering 5 watts to trap dipole. was gg to use my bug , but the OL' Bug Fist was rusty as the bottom nail on the barn door. I decided to use my E.F.Johnson staight key. 20 meters was open nicely at the start, but many signals were weak and in the noise. After 2 Qs on 20 i tried 40. Lots of "peepers" there fer sure. I worked a few on 40 and back to 20 fer a couple more, then back to 40. Seemed the "VE's" couldn't hear me at all. I called several of our friends to the north, but no joy. Tried a few CQs on 80 but no takers. Worked KG8Y, a potental member, and many old friends too. Fun sprint tonight. Hope to hear you all next month. 73 Gregg W8GG
W9DWR - I haven't done a lot of these sprints yet, but I'm pretty sure that was my best one! I was concerned with the way the bands have been, but it seemed to open up well. CU next time!
K9QEW - Started on 20m moved to 40m. Good activity on 20 and 40 meter.
TNX to DK1VD for hanging in tough.
KA2KGP - Weak signals here in WNY. 80m. was nil, 20 was very weak & 40m. was weak too. Rig: IC-7000 at 5w. into a G5RV up 20 ft. w/ straight key. Have a nice Memorial Day weekend. 73
N2ESE - I was also on last week looking for NAQCC Hi Hi,40 was OK here in NJ!
73 Gary
VE3IIM - Some new calls for me..80m was quiet here..no noise!
KC3MIO - K2 @ 5 watts into 288' loop up 30'. Band conditions seemed good from here in NE PA. I continue to chase "fools' gold" on 20M, but don't make many contacts and it occurs to me that I should only try for 10 minutes and go right to 40. Speaking of which 2/3rds of my contacts were on 40 which was in good shape. There was a KA station that was calling CQ on 7.042 and no matter how hard I listened I could not copy your call sign. 80 was also good but I turned to 40 at the end and worked AK3X. Thanks to NO2D from CO for a QSO on 40 and thanks to all my contacts. 72/73 and on to remembrance on Memorial Day and the unofficial start to summer, which will not be pool weather here. See you next month.
KF6NCX - I have only tried two or three NAQCC events before and had zero success -- heard no one! But yesterday was different! I had two QSOs, with KN2G and KV6K the former on 20 and the latter on 40. I operated for about 90 minutes.
Thanks for the qsos. I'm looking forward to the next contest!
N2CN - My first sprint in over a year.
AA0W - Good Conditions on 20 and 40.
all stations heard were either strong or weak. Thanks to all for the fun time.
KF7Z - Good Condx in Wyoming early on 20, stuck with it ti 1:30z and no body left around . Had QSO started with a KA5 but he dropped out and I couldn't get it completed, sorry about that. Elecraft K3s dialed down to 5w to a 20 meter dipole at 25'.
thanks for the Qs
73 Danny
AK3X - XYL did not get the memo so I squeezed in for the last seven minutes of the sprint. Some day I will get to play the entire sprint. 72 Peter.
WA5LSV - Great fun! I was only able to get on for a few minutes but enjoyed it just the same. Looking forward to next month.
WA2FBN - Had fun operating under screen tent in the rain with temp of 45F! Tnx to all who copied my cold fingers sending. XIEGU X6100 (5w) into EFHW sloper up 15ft. 72 Ken
W2SH - 20m only stayed open for the first half hour. Most of the action was on 40m with a couple of QSOs made on 80m.
N5GW - I tried 20M only rather than fighting the warm weather QRN on 40M!
