Ron Pearson - W5RCP (then KA5HZV) - NAQCC # 0483
I was licensed in 1981 and enjoyed radio for a couple of years before life got in the way and I left. Nineteen years later, still a novice, I found my way back. I studied for and took the Technician test and passed. Two weeks later I past the General Class test. I have an assortment of radios and enjoy them all, but CW/qrp is my favorite mode. My other hobbies include Sailing and motorcycle riding. My wife and I are planning to cruise our boat in a few years and I'm looking forward to operating from some exotic locations. My NAQCC number is 483 and I'm excited about having become a member. I'll be looking for you all on the bands.CW/QRP of course...
